RECORDING & PHOTOGRAPHY of COATS OF ARMS Collections can be recorded on camera in any format, either print with negatives, slide or digital. An index can be made and blazons written of each coat of arms. Notes can be added recording all known details from your sources and my own library. This can be finished as a typed manuscript or on CD, either for your personal use or for publication. Photographs of the arms can be added to illustrate the work.
So far over the years I have produced a complete armory with extensive indexes of the 1000-odd coats of arms within the precincts of Lincoln’s Inn, London, commissioned in CD format for the Inn’s library; a list of the High Sheriffs of Oxfordshire published in the Heraldry Gazette; A Guernsey Armorial taken from manuscripts within the Greffe, Guernsey and published in the Heraldic Craftsman. Other works are ongoing.
