HISTORIC BUILDINGS

Historic buildings and palaces often have the coats of arms of owners and notable worthies within them. I can continue this tradition by adding to the work in a style sympathetic to the existing examples.

I have been painting and gilding the heraldry within the Palace of Westminster since 2000. This includes the coats of arms of all Lords Chancellor, Chiefs of Defence Staff and Speakers of the House of Commons on the fabric of the building within the House of Lords . Work elsewhere in the Palace includes signwriting and heraldry for the portraits and shields in Speaker’s House.

Other pages on this site show commissions which were painted to represent periods and blend in with both buildings and other paintings.
